Personal Summary

I am a Master of Computer Science with a PhD in Geometric Modeling, bringing over a decade of experience as an educator, researcher, and software engineer in the academic sector. My expertise lies in software engineering and geometric modeling, with a specialization in differential geometry and spline constructions. I have developed software tools and libraries for educational and research purposes, contributing to research groups, publications, and the educational growth of BSc, MSc, and PhD students. My main interests include geometric modeling, differential geometry, splines and their applications, visualization, programming languages, computer games, and graphics.

Throughout my academic career, I have contributed to shaping the next generation of engineers, I have designed and refined courses, lectured, and mentored students in engineering, software development, programming fundamentals, and algorithms.

As a software engineer and researcher, I bridge theory and practice through continuous software development, reflection, and the scientific method. My technology choices are always problem-driven, with a deep passion for C++ and its ecosystem. Beyond academic R&D, I enjoy designing software ecosystems, tools, libraries, and frameworks.

Outside of work, I pursue hiking, snowboarding, playing video games, and making stuff, among other things. I approach challenges with a positive and professional attitude - and I am often found whistling while I work ^^,
